Richard Christy in a new comedy series

World's nicest drummer - and our beloved pal - DEATH alumnus Richard Christy has been filming a new comedy series called There Goes Da Neighborhood...

One of the nicest guys you could ever possibly meet, DEATH's own Richard Christy has been in California filming the new comedy series There Goes Da Neighborhood.  The production's facebook page describes the series as "A Black Devil Doll Sitcom of Outrageous Proportions", and the further info (Cult/Exploitation/Blaxploitation/Comedy) probably says it all.

Details are that it is "a 6-part, 30 minute per episode SERIES in the tradition of 80's TV sitcoms! Over 3 hours of raunchy and hysterical goodness! Available in 2014 on DVD & Blu Ray plus Video On Demand, itunes, and other streaming services!"

Knowing Richard's brand of OTT hilarity, 'T-Back' is certainly the perfect comedian to make this production sail.  Always one to make the DEATH guys laugh their heads off (and Chuck himself has a bit part in one of Richard's first cult films), he of course has made a very nice career on the Howard Stern Show (since 2004), and nobody deserves success more than our Mr. Christy.

Here is a still from the series.  Well done Richard!
